Hi,
Apologies: my Dutch is nog niet goed genoeg om te schijven..
I am new in the NL and started the Mediabox XL installation. Just refurbished the entire house an removed all coaxial sockets as I assumed this was a XXth century thing (does not exist in France or Belgium anymore).
how can I connect the Mediabox directly over wifi or using ethernet cable?

DAnkje wel

Hi sebflag,

Welcome to the Netherlands!

I'm sorry to tell, but the Mediabox XL has to be connected by a coax cable just like every TV decoder. 😬 It won't work when you're gonna connect it over the internet.

Regards
Evert
Thanks for the confirmation and the welcome Evert!
Pity to keep all these useless cables:-)

Well I always prefer a wired connection over a wireless one, cause it's more reliable :)

Unfortunately it's gonna take a little while for you to get the cables every where I guess.

How long do you have the Mediabox XL already? Within the first 8 weeks after the arrival of the box, you can make an appointment for an engineer who will install it for free. After those 8 weeks, it's still possible to make an appointment, but then you've to pay. So, if you're still within those 8 weeks, I advise you to make an appointment :)

You can do it here, the chat is open 24/7.
