Kabel TV - ondertiteling

Hello,

Sorry for writing in English. 

I watch TV without a box, directly using the coax cable.

When I enable dutch subtitles on my LG smart TV on the dutch channels that have subtitles, nothing is displayed.

I’ve tried all the options on the TV to no avail.

Are subtitles available without a box or CI card?
