English subtitles on TV

How can I watch movies and series on TV with English subtitles?

This is only possible on the english channels (bbc). Subtitles are usually only in the native language. Dutch on the dutch and belgian channels, german on their channels and so on.

Not possible, we are in the Netherlands so only dutch subs.
