Connecting the mediabox to the TV wirelessly

Good evening!

I have a coax cable that is a bit far away from the TV. So I would connect the coax cable to the media box and the media box wirelessly to the TV. Does Ziggo have a solution for that? If not, do they somehow block/prohibit the available HDMI transmitter-receiver sets? Does any of you have experience with these?

A permanent coax connection is required for linear (live) TV. Ziggo Randapparatuur offers premium quality IEC/IEC coax cables up to 10 meters in length. Using a wireless solution, such as an HDMI transmitter/receiver set, is not recommended nor officially supported.

Just to clarify, my idea was to use a wireless connection from the mediabox to the TV, not from the coax to the mediabox.

But does it get live TV or is it equivalent to using Ziggo Go from e.g. a fireTV stick (which I am using now)?

The Next Mini requires (USB) power and Wi-Fi connections only. This allows you to move it freely along with the TV, provided Wi-Fi signal strength is sufficient. The Next Mini offers the same software features as the Mediabox Next.
