Wisselende internet (gaat vaak uit doordedag)

Thuis heb ik wisselende internet. Hij gaat regelmatig (maar geen duidelijk patroon) uit, soms 10-15 keren per dag. Ook als via kabel is (stroom). Hierbeneden zijn de details in ConnectBox Admin pagina \ Advanced Settings \ Tools \ Network status. Zie bijlage met foto's van de modem en de aansluitpunt.


Waar kan de probleem zitten? Is de modem aan te vervangen? Of anders?

Als eerste zal er een andere splitter moeten komen met een nieuwe kabel naar je modem.

Ziggo kan je die gratis toesturen.

 

Dit is een klant helpt klant forum waar Ziggo moderators/medewerkers, zij hebben Ziggo voor hun naam staan, meestal binnen een werkdag (ma-vr) langskomen in ieder topic.

Er is veel ruis aanwezig in de downstream.

 

Het aftakelement UMU-1006 is verouderd, overbodig, levert een hoge demping op in de downstream en maakt het modem ruisgevoelig door de open aansluitingen. Het modem kan direct op het AOP aangesloten worden middels een IEC/F-kabel (groene en rode stekker), mogelijk werd deze meegeleverd met het modem, anders kan Ziggo deze kosteloos toesturen.

Welkom op de Community! En fijn dat er al met je is meegedacht in dit topic. Wisselende internet is immers niet prettig, daar moet wat tegen gedaan worden!

Signaal is heel belangrijk voor het modem. Top dat daarom al foto's zijn geplaatst. De goedbedoelde suggesties neem ik ook ter harte, een gratis nieuwe splitter en kabel wordt zo snel mogelijk door PostNL bezorgt! Laat je weten of het internet daar stabiel van wordt? Dat is het doel 🙂

Bedankt iedereen voor jullie antwoorden!

 

Vorige week van ziggo de nieuwe splitter en een kabel gekregen. Al 3 dagen in gebruik. Helaas de internet connectie valt heel vaak, soms elke 15 minuten. Wel geprobeerd de kabel direct in de APO te doen. Helaas zelfde verhaal, geen verbeteringen.

 

Is tijd om direct de ziggo te bellen en iemand laten kijken naar de AOP? Of kan nog iets doen?

Nog steeds veel ruis in de downstream. Grote hoeveelheden correctable errors ('Post RS Errors') en de ongelijke unerrored codewords ('Pre RS Errors') impliceren uncorrectable errors. Verder vrijwel continu T3 timeouts.

 

Een monteursafspraak voor signaalcontrole en vernieuwen van het AOP is m.i. de volgende stap. Het huidige AOP (TRAS-1000) is verouderd.
