Ubee UBC1318ZG problemen

Een paar maanden geleden had ik wat internet problemen en uiteindelijk heb ik toen een Ubee UBC1318ZG modem ontvangen. De hele thread over mijn toenmalige problemen is hier:

E.e.a. leek na installatie van de Ubee goed te werken echter nu zie ik toch weer wat problemen.

Uptime is 46 dagen. Er is in de aansluiting in de meterkast helemaal niets veranderd. AOP is een paar maanden geleden ook up-to-date gebracht.

Modem zelf draait als router (NAT mode), dus niet bridged.

Iemand enig idee wat er aan de hand is?
(ik had gisteren ook opeens een slechte kwaliteit audio van Youtube Music, ik heb dat in eerste instantie aan iets anders geweten, maar dit zou gecorreleerd kunnen zijn).

 

edit: zou dit weer gerelateerd kunnen zijn?
En (offtopic) ik heb niet kunnen ontdekken hoe ik die twee cellen hieronder kan deleten

Kleine aanvulling: ik kreeg net iets wat op een tijdelijke hiccup leek.

music.youtube.com zei “video paused, do you want to continue”.
Continue werkte, in de log is niets te zien op dat tijdstip.

Hmm, dit ziet er niet goed uit.

Gisteren om 22.51 viel het TV signaal (RTL-Z) regelmatig weg (Mediabox no signal melding). Vanochtend wilde ik daarom even in de log van het modem kijken of er toen ook een netwerk issue was. De log bevat alleen maar meldingen van vandaag.

Veel notices van CM-STATUS sent maar ook T3 en T4.

Wat is er aan de hand?

Door een storing werkt internet en telefonie niet zoals het hoort. Haal hierom de stekker uit het modem en sluit deze na 30 seconden weer aan. Na een half uurtje werkt alles weer

Wanneer is het opgelost?

Nog niet bekend

 

Ik ga dit in ieder geval even proberen, maar weet niet of dit ook de hiccup in het TV signaal verklaard

AOP is ok, is een paar maanden geleden door Ziggo vervangen.

Ik heb ondertussen getriggerd door de storingsmelding even het modem gereset. Eens kijken wat dat oplevert.

 

De partial bonding melding is in ieder geval weg.

Unrecoverable errors staat nog op 0 voor alle kanalen.

De volgende meldingen zijn er bij gekomen in de log. Waarschijnlijk alleen een opstart issue.

Er is duidelijk iets niet goed in het coaxsegment tussen AOP en straatkast of verder. Ik heb het issue neergelegd bij het moderatieteam en gevraagd om e.e.a. te bekijken.

de downstream is aan de lage kant maar nog wel binnen de aanbevelen waarde

Aanvulling: gisteren om 8 uur het modem opnieuw opgestart. Nu, 12 uur verder, geen rare meldingen sinds dat tijdstip. Ook nauwelijks uncorrectables (6 stuks).

Het netwerk is in die tijd niet veel gebruikt, maar voor connection loss zou dat niet echt uit moeten maken.

Als er een Ziggo medewerker langskomt, zou die nog even kunnen kijken of dit gerelateerd is aan de storing die er geweest is?

Ik hou het verder de komende dagen in de gaten.

Goedemorgen @eFfeM,

Fijn dat de verbinding na het opnieuw starten van je modem weer goed werkt. Ik heb op jouw verzoek nog wel even een blik geworpen op de verbinding.
Het signaal ziet er nu weer goed uit,  maar gister was er sprake van een probleem met de upstream bij jou in de buurt. Dit is inmiddels opgelost. 
Houd de komende dagen anders even in de gaten hoe de verbinding werkt.

@Paul Ziggo Doe ik.

Kan het zijn dat de storing die ik op TV kreeg op 9 dec, 22.51 RTL-Z ook hierdoor veroorzaakt werd? Dit leek ook op een te zwak signaal of een signaal met teveel ruis. Mediabox gaf regelmatig signal lost, TV ook op de kabel hangt gaf veel artefacten (blokjes etc).

@eFfeM  Als ik even terugkijk zie ik tussen 9 december en 10 december 2020 problemen met het signaal terug. Hierdoor kan het best zijn dat je ook op de TV zenders storing hebt gehad. 
Nu ziet alles er weer prima uit en zou het allemaal moeten werken. Sluit dit aan bij jouw bevindingen op dit moment?
