In order to log in to a program I use, I need a fixed IP address.
After the last Ziggo outage, my IP address has changed for the umpteenth time. Ziggo (company policy) refuses to say more than that I have to log in to the modem and change something there in order to have a fixed IP address. Does anyone have experience setting this up?

Opgelost! Ga naar oplossing.
Ziggo supplies a dynamic IP address on the consumer connection, which rarely changes in practice.
There is no setting in a modem/router to change this.
Except if you have ds lite. Then ask ziggo for ipv4 only.
