Thanks for the pictures @JustinR I send a new splitter and coax cable, just to be sure that this isn't causing the problem! Please let us know how things are going when you received the package and had time to test this.

Hi Justin, the signal doesn't look amazing. This would explain the slow speeds:

How is the connection between the modem and the main Ziggo outlet made? Can you post a picture of it?

There should be a green coloured cable entering your house with a coax outlet on it (examples of outlets), probably a splitter of some kind on that and then a short coaxial cable directly to the modem.

Could you take a picture of the main connection and what is connected to it?

for most people this could be found in the meter cupboard

Not the nicest to look at, but not my house 😉

 

These cables and splitters came with the Giganet router. There are no folds in the wires, the OUT2 is to the TV.

 

 

I made sure it was plugged in as far as it can go.

Splitter received and installed, thank you! 

I think the quality and stability has improved allot? It seems a bit more stable but will test it more over the week.

 

Can I get another signal test please?

Hi @JustinR! I checked your connection and the signal is perfect since you installed the new splitter. How is your experience been the last few days? Is everything still working stable?
