SmartWifi modem installation issues

Hello, 

 

I am new to Ziggo and have recently moved to the Netherlands. I have received a Black Smart Wi-fi Modem from Ziggo but it shows a issue. When turning on the modem the light is blinking red. From what I read, this is a downstream signal problem. Is there any way to solve this problem by myself?

Since you are a new customer, a technician appointment may be required to (re)connect your property's main cable to the EV (final amplifier) multitap.

 

To rule out other causes: could you post one or more pictures of the AOP (main outlet in meter cupboard or living room) and cables, plus splitter(s) and signal amplifier, as applicable?
