Slow Internet Speed

I have a ziggo subscription with 300 mbit download and 30 mbit upload speed. I never see these speeds, infact I see some ridicilous internet speeds like 10 mbit download. How can I solve this problem? It turned out that the main connection cable for the apartment was under the kitchen sink (weird). There was a very bad extension cable which distributes the signal to the wall outlets. He disabled that extension and wired the modem directly to the main connection.

Sound great! I assume a new AOP (main outlet) has been installed to connect the modem to?

 

Could you post the downstream/upstream data once again? The noise ingress problem should have been resolved.

Here are the latest status informations. I don't know what they mean but I am happy that I can get the speeds I want.

Both the downstream and upstream are now as they should be. Power and MER/CER values are very good to excellent.
