Regarding bridge mode in the Connectbox

Hello,

I understand that it is possible to setup the Connectbox modem/router in bridge mode, so I have a couple of questions.

1) In bridge mode, is it still possible to make the modem act as WiFi access point?

2) My modem is now configured as IPv4, but the "Modem mode" button in the main dashboard disappears a few seconds after the dashboard is loaded. I'm assuming that's where the "bridge mode" setting is. Is there a reason why it's not visible? I've uploaded a picture

Thanks!

  1. No, the eRouter and Wi-Fi access point are disabled when bridge mode is active. You will need to install a separate router and AP.
  2. The 'Modem mode' page (visible in former UPC areas only) has been discontinued and is in the process of being disabled in all of fUPC. Bridge mode can only be activated on request by filling out this form.

You can no longer use Wifispots.
The LAN ports 2 to 4 are switched off.
You can no longer use your hexagonal SmartWifi pods.
IPv6 for the SmartWifi modems (Connectbox) and the Ubee 1318.
