Connectbox Flashing

Hello,

 


I received my Ziggo Connectbox today and was a little disappointed to find out that my internet connection is not ready even after installing everything. The power light is flashing green and only the wifi label is lit up.

 

If someone can help me that would be greatly appreciated!

Could you post one or more pictures of the AOP (main outlet in meter cupboard or living room) and cables, plus splitter(s) and signal amplifier, as applicable?

Additionally, could you log in to the modem's web interface at 192.168.178.1 and copy the data displayed on the Downstream and Upstream tabs on the Advanced settings, Tools, Network status page?

 

If you are a new customer, a technician appointment may be required to physically connect your AOP to the EV (final amplifier).

The modem appears to be unable to receive a (usable) downstream signal. To confirm this, could you post the data displayed on the Downstream tab on the Advanced settings, Tools, Network status page?

 

The modem is currently connected to an outdated TV/R outlet. The splitter (POA-01-B) is redundant and may be removed.

 

Did you check the meter cupboard for the presence of a coax outlet?

No downstream signal, as expected.

 

No green cable either? When you unscrew the outlet cover plate, does a green cable appear?
