Change to IPV4

Hi,

Due to the applications I'm using, I would like to change my modem to IPV4 instead of IPV6.

Is there any way I can do this myself?

Kind regards,

If Dual-Stack Lite is currently active (IPv4 address in subnet 213.127.0.0/17), this may be switched to either IPv4 Only or Full Dual-Stack, depending on the availability of the latter. This can be arranged by a moderator (Ziggo employee), who will reply to this topic within 2-3 days.

If Full Dual-Stack is active, disabling IPv6 on the eRouter is not possible. Normally, Full Dual-Stack will not cause connectivity problems. If you would still like to disable IPv6, your options are as follows:

  • Setting the DHCPv6 server to 'stateful' operation, which may cause client devices to fall back to IPv4.
  • Installing a separate router with IPv6 disabled, preferably having the modem set to bridge mode, which disables the eRouter.
  • Disabling IPv6 on client devices separately.

Hi @Fdayi,

Welcome to the Community! I'll do a free IP4V request for you, I think you will notice this within 24 hours 🙂
