How to activate an Second hand Mediabox XL given by a friend

Hi,

One of my friends gave me his Mediabox XL before leaving Netherlands.

I would like to know how to activate the box or to replace my actual modem ?

The main idea is to install the "app" to get some missing TV channel like France2 etc...

You can't, ziggo only activates if the mediabox is hired from ziggo.

Hi @Segbroek 

Your second hand media box will never work. The previous owner should have handed in this media box to a recycling center. Because this is a depreciated media box, Ziggo will never activate this media box.

But such a media box might be a fun project to take it apart. 😀
