I am a Ziggo user for quite some time now and recently I have been experiencing regular disconnections: meaning that I lose the internet connectivity for a few seconds and then it will come back (sometimes requiring the connected devices to be disconnected/reconnected). All devices suffer from the problem (Ethernet & Wireless).
I have the feeling that posting my issue here could lead to a quicker resolution time thanks to the community
I see a lot of Illegal - Dropped INPUT packet & Lost MDD Timeout in sync with the internet loss but this is where my tech knowledge stops 😛 It seems to be related to the problem showing in this post Internet connection unreliable, mdd errors.
I tried a reset of the Connect box, replacing the cable but it didn't change anything. I hope you can help!
(Sorry I had to add the Downstream bonded channels as pictures since they wouldn’t go through as tables - it increased the number of caracters).

I was pretty sure this was not what you were looking for 😄
The picture you have on top of my original post is actually the only coax connexion I see from my apartment (it is in my meter cupboard). I went through the staircase following the cable and it seems to go underground / through another apartment. Our building is fairly old and I wouldn’t be surprised that some shady electronic stuff is going on here 😛
We had another internet issue in the past (no connexion at all) and the Ziggo technician who came also tried to locate the main connector but couldn’t. At the time, replacing the box and removing some stuff* from the outlet (picture above) did the trick at the time.
Do you have any ideas where the main connection could be?
In the meter cupboard I see the white coax coming up to a 3 divider that gives at least 7 to 8 Dbmµ loss and that is certainly not good. Probably the white coax cable that feeds the 3 distributor is welded on green under the floor ..... And idd cutting the coac in the wcd could be a lot better.
This can easily be the first place where Ziggo enters the home. In many apartment buildings this has been installed in such a way, with a gray cable as main cable and a simple wall socket, by the contractor who built the apartments.
This is a job for a Ziggo technician, they will fix it for free and will also replace the splitter for you.
This is a customer help customer forum where Ziggo moderators come by almost every working day in every topic.
Make sure your zip code and house number are entered in your Ziggo community profile, these are not publicly visible, then the correct data can be found immediately.
