Connectbox from another house connection?

Hello,

I have one type of main connection in the bedroom where I placed the POA splitter and connected the connect box. (the internet works)

There is a different socket/connection in the living room that is a different type : TV&R. I tried to add the POA splitter there and connect the modem but the internet did not work.

How can I connect my internet connect box from a different socket? Can I only install it from the bedroom and then run cables to my other rooms where I have TV & computer?

Thank you for your help!

Regards,
Alex

This socket is incompatible with current Ziggo services.

Pass-through outlets like these have a huge effect on signalstrength and returnsignal and often give a signal loss over 10 dB.

The right way is to have the original (green) cable arrive at the house in a special Ziggo AOP and then split, with a seperate cable to each outlet. edit: 12 dB to be exact (written on the outlet)

The entry point for the Ziggo connection is at the end of a green cable. Usually you will find that in the closet with the electricity meter. The Connectbox is to be installed there and then you can run utp cables to your computer and other equipment or use WiFi.
Hi Jan.

Thank you for your answer.
I checked and the green cable is in the bedroom, on the wall facing oustside. There are other cables that run from there.
In the living room I have this socket:

I connected the connectbox with the poa-01 to the green cable. Because my computer (requires cable, not wifi) is in the living room I bought a 20 m utp cable today, internet works.
To connect the mediabox as well i will have to buy another 20 m coax cable.

My question is, can I connect the boxes directly in the living room with the POA-01 assuming that this socket is connected to the one from the bedroom?

Since the poa-01 splits the tv signal into 2 and the connect box takes one of those signals, it makes sense that I should be able to connect the connect box in the living room where there is the socket attached above.

Sorry for the long post and thank your for your help.

Regards,
Alex
