I think the functionality 'afmelden van lijst', has been created without working with all the companies affected, so the have not incorporated it into their systems. Hence, am still signed into their systems and they believe that they are sending me the emails!!!
So, what exactly is happening to the emails? I believe they are somehow being blocked by the functionality in the Ziggo system. Given that the companies are still trying to send me the emails, I believe Ziggo should provide a way for me to re-subscribe to the lists in question. It may also be a good idea to add an 'are you sure you want to un-subscribe' button to the functionality to stop it being to easy to make this error in the first place.
That's incorrect. All this button does is send one unsubscribe message to the sender. It doesn't block e-mail from them, it doesn't keep unsubscribing you continually, it just does one simple thing. Companies nowadays are legally obligated to comply to these unsubscribe/opt-out messages since the GDPR was implemented.
Re-subscribing to a newsletter is something out of our control, out of any e-mailprovider's control in fact. I can't sign you up for a newsletter provided by a third party. If the re-subscription doesn't work properly that's not our fault, but the third parties concern.
All I can do is sign you up for our own newsletter/servicemail.
