Wifi is not working

Hello,

first of all sorry for writing in English, but my Dutch is not that good.

I have had Ziggo and the mediabox XL for a few years, and it (more or less) always worked. Today I came home from work and I saw all the lights in red. As usually when it happens a restart is enough to fix everything, I tried, but no luck. All lights went off after restart, but wifi networks were still not available. I tried again, and wifi networks appeared available and working for a couple of minutes but then died suddenly and never came back.

 

Looking at the software, both (2.4 and 5) looks disabled and with no name or other data. For some reasons, it seems like they die after 1-2 minutes and all the data is cancelled (see screenshots below)

 

Tv and cable internet are working fine with no issues.
 

Anyone has an idea of what could I do? Is the mediabox broken now or it’s an issue on Ziggo/Software updates?

Do you have a separate modem?

If not, then:

This is a customer help customer forum where Ziggo moderators come by every few business days in every topic, so that can take a few days.

You can contact Ziggo through the chat or in a different way on the contact page.
The chat box (to be used 24 hours a day / 365 days a year) is automatic placed in the middle of the screen or at the bottom right of the page below, only if someone is available, sometimes wait a while.
