Netflix block certain program

Since about a week a go we have a strange problem. Whenever we are connected on our home Ziggo network, we can’t access some programs in Netflix. But as soon as I switch to (for example) my Vodafone’s 4G network, I can access them.

This happens on all our devices : WinOS laptop, Android phone, LG TV, Chromebook. Netflix support says that I might be using ‘content deblocker’ which I don’t. I’ve factory-reset my modem (still in router mode).

Any idea ?

thinking of moving to bridge mode.

Hi Gianna,

I think I only have the dutch version. For example the snowpiercer series. Funny thing is, we were watching it just fine 2 weeks ago.

I ‘solve’ the problem by changing the modem to bridge mode and so receiving a new public IP address.

So it seems my old IP address was marked as an VPN service by Netflix.

Good Afternoon @ari197

How strange that you experience this. I understand that you only experience this if you are connected to the home network and not through the mobile data.
Do you use the Dutch version of Netflix? Or another version? And with wich serie is it exactly?

That's still odd, but great to hear it's solved now :relaxed:  Have fun watching Snowpiercer (and others)!
